KraussMaffei now also offers the GX series for multicomponent technology with the GX SpinForm encompassing a swivel-plate design and is significantly expanding the field of application as a result. At the K 2013 trade show in Düsseldorf, a GX 550 SpinForm will produce components made from thermoplastic and polyurethane with a premium-quality lacquer surface in the next generation of multicomponent technology (October 16-23, Hall 15, B27/C24/C27/D24).
Varied basis for modern multicomponent technology SpinForm swivel-plate machines from KraussMaffei are ideally suited to manufacturing multicomponent parts and are in high demand on the market. In Düsseldorf, visitors to the K 2013 will see live demonstrations of a GXW 550-2000/380 SpinForm. "Thanks to the SpinForm variant, processors can now benefit from the GX's advantages in multicomponent technology too," explains Frank Peters, Vice President Sales at KraussMaffei. "Short cycle times and minimal energy consumption, also by using electric splitter and hand axes." Together with the BluePower servo pump drive, the GX is setting new standards for energy-saving multicomponent machines. Above all, SpinForm machines are impressive at medium and large clamping forces and as key components in automatic production cells for manufacturing complex multicomponent parts. Processors benefit from higher component quality and simpler logistics.
